Abstract: Records of the Board of Supervisors, 1860-1993; Clerk, 1869-1964; Treasurer, 1851-1982; Justice of the Peace, 1890-1907; and Board of Health, 1878-1929. The most comprehensive documentation of the town government is found in the proceedings of the Board of Supervisors and in greater detail in the Clerk's record books, 1869-1964. Other records include election records (1868-1915), highway records (1852-1953), Treasurer's records (1851-1982), Justice of the Peace dockets from the town and the village of Greenleaf (1890-1907), and Board of Health records (1878-1929). The dockets include records of a few marriages and also some births. Also present is an agreement to form the Wrightstown Farmers Mutual Insurance Company.

Abstract: Fragmentary records of the Writers Guild of America, West, the labor union which since 1954 represents motion picture, television, and radio writers, and of its predecessor, the Screen Writers' Guild; consisting of agreements negotiated between members and the television industry, a constitution, by-laws, a code of working rules, and a bulletin of credits for 1949.

Abstract: Records of The Writers Place (TWP), a non-profit corporation dedicated to the proliferation of Madison, Wisconsin’s literary community, founded by Burt and Dale Kushner in the early 1980s. The paper records are scant and consist of correspondence, news clippings, and copies of some of their newsletters. The Writers Place hosted readings and open microphone programs which were recorded and the bulk of the collection consists of these recordings (audio cassette tapes). In addition to these programs, The Writers Place offered classes in prose and poetry. Many of the recordings were first broadcast on WORT community radio or Wisconsin Public Radio. They are generally organized by author or participant with the exception of the open microphone programs which are arranged thematically.

Abstract: Writings and research produced by the Wisconsin division of the Federal Writers' Project (1935-1942), which was designed to provide jobs for unemployed professional and white-collar workers. The collection consists of biographies of famous Wisconsinites; tour guides and histories of Madison, Milwaukee, Mineral Point and Wausau; radio scripts of dramatized biographies and dramatized recollections of pioneer days; and other writings.

Abstract: Records of a Works Progress Administration (WPA) office which prepared brief local studies and automobile tour information for northeastern Wisconsin. Included are studies and tour outlines, a paper on Menominee Indian lore, and administrative correspondence revealing difficulties the project faced on the state and regional levels.
