Permits allowing minors between the ages of 14 and 18 to work, issued by the county judge on Industrial Commission forms. Permits give name, age, physical description, proof of age, conditions of employment, and name of school attended. Some forms from 1909 include optional questions regarding the child's family including income and worth, nationality, religion, and parents' educational backgrounds. Permits were issued in accordance with Chapter 349 Laws of 1903 until 1933 when the power to issue permits was restricted to the Industrial Commission or designated persons. English
