Abstract:
Records of Kappa Epsilon (KE), a professional pharmacy fraternity, founded by Zada M. Cooper on May 13, 1921 in Iowa City, Iowa, with the intent of promoting pharmacy as a career for women. Kappa Epsilon supports scholastic and professional development of its members through awards, scholarships, and fellowships, and with the establishment of the Kappa Epsilon Foundation in 1992. Collegiate and alumni chapters are active nationwide. The collection documents the fraternity's advocacy activities on behalf of women in the pharmaceutical profession.
