Series: 2. Photographic Material
Scope and Content Note: Comprising most of the collection, these photographs are largely slides of rolling stock, streetcars, buses, stations and barns, and equipment. Each file folder listed below corresponds to an original slide container, and slides remain in their original order. The file folder heading provided below is Mueller's own primary label, and appears to reflect a general topic or grouping of the images. Mueller used two numbering systems; the primary system is reflected by the box number given in parentheses in the list below. (The physical order of the files also reflects this primary numbering scheme.) A secondary numbering scheme was sometimes apparent, and is reflected in the number in the file folder heading (e.g., the 3 in "Utility 3"); its meaning is unknown. For image detail, researchers are advised to consult both the original container label (when it survived) and the notations found on most slides.

Photographs appear to have been collected by Mueller between the 1970s and early 1990s. Prints are often original images, and date from the early twentieth century. Slides, however, appear to date from mid-twentieth to late-twentieth century and most are thought to be copies from other sources.
