Abstract:
Financial records of a Waterloo, Wisconsin, harness making shop owned first by Lyons and Seaver and next by Robert Setz, who also did shoe repairs. Included are daybooks and account books recording money transactions, yearly inventories, and summaries.

Scope and Content Note

The volumes comprising this collection are mainly daybooks froma harness making shop, recording both incoming and outgoing monies. There are also account books of incoming and outgoing monies, one of which also includes a group of yearly inventories and summaries. The earliest daybook contains the records of Lyons and Seaver, probably the original owners of the shop. The remainer are all records of Robert Setz, who, after 1920, did shoe repairs in addition to harness work. There are sixteen volumes arranged in two groups: daybooks and account books.
