Legislative papers of Walter J. Chilsen, a Republican leader from Wausau who served in the Wisconsin Senate (1967-1989), consisting primarily of materials from his tenure in office. The collection documents Chilsen's leadership of the Senate Republican Caucus (1967-1972), his relationship with Governor Patrick Lucey, and his prominence in committee work on various key issues.
