Files contain correspondence that gives insight into Wisconsin's economic climate, business proposals, listings for possible business sites, and business advertisements. These prospects are businesses that eventually did establish in the state or indicated their reasons for choosing not to settle in Wisconsin. There are also files of unnamed businesses seeking information through contacts.
