Interviews conducted by Jean Saul Rannells with twenty-seven rural Wisconsin senior citizen women primarily from Marquette and Lafayette counties about the everyday experiences of their lives. The audio recordings document the quality of life perceived by the interviewees from approximately 1915 to 1985 and focus on everyday activities, attitudes toward work and leisure time, religion, community involvement, informal education, and relationships.
