The collection documents civic, cultural, and educational activities of Rev. Galamison's congregation, as well as his own activities in various community organizations such as the Brooklyn NAACP chapter and the Parents Workshop for Equality in New York City Schools that worked toward the elimination of segregation in the city school system.
