Scope and Content Note: Reels 1-55 Cases, 1851-1938 (case numbers 1-12055) microfilmed by the county through Riverfront Inc., circa 1983-1985. Microfilm not available to researchers, the same cases can be found on the processed microfilm (cases #1-567 - La Crosse Series 48) and in paper format (cases #577-4769 -- La Crosse Series 48). Original records, circa 1851-1876 and circa 1910-1938 (cases #1-576 and 4770-12055) were destroyed by the county.
