: Correspondence, minutes of meetings, and reports of conferences of the Wisconsin Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, 1949-1958, organized under the State Superintendent of Public Instruction to promote general improvement in instruction and supervision. The collection includes information on the merger of this organization with the Wisconsin Association of County Supervising Teachers in 1957 and copies of the constitution and bylaws. A second section of the collection is composed of papers, 1927-1938, of the Wisconsin Conference of Grade Supervisors, which was dissolved in 1948 when WASCD was established. This section includes correspondence, minutes of meetings, and five special project reports on programs in remedial reading.
