Boxes 1-5 contain the general subject files of the Division, which include departmental correspondence, memos, legislative reports, and meeting minutes. There are also files related to topics of interest to the Division including alcoholism, mental health, children and youth, and public assistance. Boxes 6-9 contain the files of various state mental institutions and state hospitals, primarily county hospitals and colonies. Included are monthly reports, survey results, personnel files, and administrative correspondence. : There are some files related to patient treatment which are restricted per Wis.
