Wisconsin Arts Board: Arts Challenge Initiative Program Records, 1993-2003

Container Title
2013/165
Part 7 (2013/165): Additions, 1954-1971
Physical Description: 4.4 c.f. (4 record center cartons and 1 archives box) and 0.4 c.f. of photographs
Scope and Content Note: Records, 1954-1971, related to the development and management of historic sites managed by the Wisconsin Historical Society. Records likely represent the Division's central file for the 1960s and 1970s and were left at Old World Wisconsin after the Division of Historic Sites moved its offices to the Headquarters Building. There are materials including photographs, correspondence, research and publications for Stonefield, Villa Louis, Pendarvis, Wade House, and Old World Wisconsin. The bulk of the site material relates to Stonefield and there are files for many of the buildings at the site. There is a small amount of general Division administration and the LAWCON project which appears to have been related to acquisitions. There are photographs of Stonefield and Wade House.
