There are no access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to all
members of the public in accordance with state law. However, researchers will need to make
special arrangements to view the u-matic videocassettes.
The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel,
privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection (Wisconsin

Frederick I. Olson donated portions of the collection to the Library in October 1980 and
May 1985. Xavier Baron donated additional materials in August 2009 (accessions 2009-004
and 2009-008). The UWM Libraries' Media Library transferred additional materials in June
2013 (accession 2012-058).

(supervised by Christel Maass) processed accessions 2009-004 and 2009-008 in May 2012,
adding box 10 to the collection. Christel Maass updated the finding aid to include
information about accession 2012-058 in August 2013. Shiraz Bhathena digitized and
integrated the U-matic videotapes of Milwaukee Milwaukee in November 2021.
