Scope and Content Note: Audio-visual records, circa 1940-1983 including photographs, negatives, slides, and one audio recording pertaining to the Northern Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled (NWCDD). Materials provide visual documentation of the NWCDD facility and staff, patients, and programs. This accession includes a small number of personal photos of Anna Lenz, Lenz lived at the NWCDD from 1923-1990. Lenz was not committed to the home for a disability, rather as a punishment for an accident and served as a caretaker for Cottage Number 1 and several children who lived at the Center. Accession contains materials originally accessioned as 1991/134, 2000/011 and 2009/004.
