Access Restrictions

Parts 3-13 (1981/061, 1983/083, 1984/289, 1984/315, 1986/166, 1988/003, 1989/239, 1991/160, 1993/029, 1996/107, 1998/195) and 15 (2010/167) are stored at the State Records Center. The appendix lists temporary six-digit identifier numbers for boxes sent to the State Records Center. Users should include these numbers when requesting these boxes.

Acquisition Information

In 1939 the papers for 1836-1887 were transferred by the Secretary of State to the Manuscripts Division, which transferred them to the Archives in 1953.
