C.B. Cox Company Mill Records, 1872-1911

Biography/History

The mill, known locally as “Junction Mill,” was situated on the Kinnickinnick River at River Falls, Wisconsin. Built in 1867, the firm's official business name was the C.B. Cox Company. On April 22, 1873, C. B. Cox sold the mill to A. D. Andrews and George Fortune. The new owners operated the mill as A.D. Andrews and Company. Some time before the end of the nineteenth century the firm became the “A.A. Freeman Flouring Mill.”
