Fragmentary records of the less militant of two CORE chapters located on the campus of the University of California. Present are general correspondence; subject files on education, employment, and housing for blacks in the San Francisco Bay area; annotated membership lists; publications; and miscellany. Because open housing was a special concern of the chapter, this file forms the bulk of the collection and contains research materials, reports, and case files on Berkeley housing practices and services.
