The records of the Association date from its founding but are not complete. They include the original articles of incorporation.and bylaws and later amendments, scattered correspondence, minutes after 1959, and newsletters from the 1970's. Included in the miscellany are minutes from meetings held in 1961 exploring the establishment of a city-wide council of neighborhood organizations. Also of interest is a March 29, 1974, letter from Superintendent of Schools Douglas Ritchie complaining that schools are expected to solve every social ill.
