Chester L. Morrison Papers, 1942-1966

Scope and Content Note

The papers are organized in two sections: (1) correspondence and (2) miscellaneous. The correspondence is with family and friends and dates 1832-1871. Several letters are accompanied by typed copies provided by the donor. Also included in this section are receipts, deeds, and occasional explanatory notes.

The miscellaneous section contains just four items: (1) a typed copy of the will of William Sargent, probated in 1675 in Salem, Massachusetts; (2) a review of events of the year 1891 taken from the memory book of the Bradford Society; (3) a clipping about Smithton School, located in the Town of Bradford; and (4) a history of Smithton School.
