According to a note in the front page of the deposit ledger for 1886-1889, this company was established in 1858 and incorporated in 1884 with Theodore C. Shove, president, George Cooper, vice president, Fred. H. Harris, cashier, Adolph J. Endress, assistant cashier, and C. A. Knudson, bookkeeper. The records all end on April 11, 1892. They were transferred from the Manitowoc County Court House where they had been filed as a court exhibit.
