Part 2 (M95-224, Audio 1102A/37-48): Additions, 1965-1968, 1972,
1975-1976, 1979 2.6 cubic feet (2 records center cartons and 2 archives boxes), 4
videorecordings, 20 film reels (in 1 box), and 11 audio recordings : Files of Charles O. Davis, partner in McDonald Davis and executive director of the
Wisconsin Committee to Reelect the President (CREEP) in 1972. These files provide budget
and other financial information on the advertising campaigns of Richard Nixon (1968,
1972) and George Bush (1980), and state Republican candidates in the 1964 and 1966
general elections. Files for the 1972 Nixon campaign include press releases, campaign
strategy reports, canvassing manuals, budget information, radio and television spots,
and correspondence with state and national members of CREEP. There are similar materials
for the Bush campaign. Also included are two Knowles for Governor campaign spots.
