This collection consists of audio recordings of lectures given by various individuals on topics within the field of limnology. These recordings were produced by the Limnology Department, now referred to as the Center for Limnology, primarily during the 1960s and 1970s. The Center for Limnology (CFL) was established in July 1982 to coordinate, conduct and facilitate research, teaching and outreach on freshwater ecosystems at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
