The Elmer L. Winter papers primarily consist of materials relating to the Committee
for Economic Growth of Israel (CEGI), which promoted the development of a strong
business relationship between the United States and Israel. The collection contains
an entire run of the organization's Green Newsletter,
as well as Winter's self-published texts relating to expanding business operations
in Israel. Also included are speeches given by Winter as president of Manpower, and
materials that document Winter's personal life, artwork, and family history.
